Non-custodial friendly bills in
Washington state

The Washington state house judiciary committee is having hearings on a series of non-custodial friendly bills. Though I have not read the bills the short titles are quite telling:

  • Shared parenting/joint custody (HB 1470);
  • Visitation rights (HB 1773);
  • Modifying custody orders or parenting plans (HB 1514);
  • Bills dealing with relocating kids subject to a parenting plan (HB 1515 & HB 1878).
The full text of the bills are located at the Washington state Bill Information site.

The hearings are slated for Thursday, February 25, 1999, 8:00 AM in the John O'Brien building Hearing Room "B". Apparently these hearing will be on TVW or taped for later broadcast.

My take: You can bet your last dollar that the militant, scorched-earth policy feminist front will be on hand to fight these proposals tooth and nail. You can expect massive amounts of anti-male venom and tales of woe from them. Naturally the feminist front won't bring up (or accept responsibility for) the fact that their demand 30 years ago for no-fault divorce is the prime factor on why this society has so many social ills and is rotting before our very eyes.

No fault divorce is the root cause of broken families and subsequently fatherless kids. Fatherlessness is directly linked to gangs, punks, thugs and hoods, poor academic performance, youth despondency, drug use, serious crime of all stripes and levels, a welfare-dependent mentality and plenty of other evils that plague us. Tax money that could be used to build new infrastructures, schools, libraries, parks and worthwhile social projects must now be used to build more prisons and courts, hire more cops, judges, jailers, clerks and then we spend massive amounts of money on rehabilitation and re-training.

Thanks feminists. Good work. A further irony is that certain legislative bodies are now dominated by "spiritually-pure", new-age feminists who think they their brand of decision and policy-making will save our society. What a joke. There is nothing they can do that any group of independent, selfless, courageous and forward-thinking people cannot do.

Why certain women legislators think that they have some sort of special ability or understanding on how to solve our serious problems is beyond my thinking. Finally, for you out there who are looking at these upcoming committee hearings as possible salvation.
