Being a Gentle Man

After seeing Warren Farrell speak and then reading his book, The Myth of Male Power, I became infected by and infatuated with the issues surrounding gender issues in our culture. Since then, I have been consistently amazed at the lack of awareness most men have of what really goes on in their lives.

For several years every time I started talking to my male friends about the "stuff" I read they look at me condescendingly and kind of say, "Yeah, sure."

Recently, I have become involved with a group of entrepreneur types who are determined to start a national men's network. We are calling it The Gentle Man's Network. I want to start this ball rolling, and would like to connect with others like Fred Hayward and Warren Farrell, for some preliminary discussion. I am interested in finding out if I can set up meetings with yourself and any others interested in meeting the founder of The Gentle Man's Network, Glenn Pickering, author of "Being a Gentle Man."
