In this column I pose questions and raise issues. The purpose is to put a slightly different spin on each item, provoke thinking or give you ideas for how to respond to things. Think of them as "sound bite arguments."

  • Progressives neither tolerate nor celebrate diversity of thought, perspective or politics.
  • If feminists are so oppressed then why do they get so much favor from the press, politicians and academia?
  • Due to prison rape, men are raped in far higher numbers than women. "Yea, but that's men doing it to men." To a large extent that's true. There are women having sex with boys, statutory rape, and we tell the boys they're lucky, while we tell girls who have sex with men that they're victims, a sexist double standard. But dismissing male rape as "men doing it to men" is like dismissing violence against blacks because most of it is "blacks doing it to blacks." If the latter is racist, then the former is sexist.
  • Problem: America is not the greatest country in the world anymore. Cause: America is not the freest country in the world anymore.
  • Feminism is socially acceptable and politically correct sexism.
  • Feminist writers are criticized so much because most of what they write is so goofy.
  • Generally, anti-feminists are far more knowledgeable about feminism than the vast majority of feminists, which is why they're anti-feminist: it's not misogyny, but awareness.
  • They say a little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing, and that's what feminism is: a little bit of knowledge.
  • Because most feminism has morphed into a hate movement, the movement always reacts to other "victim" populations with indifference and, in many cases, with jealous hostility until the benefit of an alliance becomes clear. This is the grainy reality of modern feminism.
  • False rape and sexual assault accusations happen, but anybody who tries to talk about it is vilified by the hate-male campaign.
  • Feminists say men have the power in dating because we do the choosing. But most men feel women have the power because men risk rejection when they make the first move, while all women have to do is say yes or no. And thanks to feminists, even yes can be an ex post facto no.
  • Few men realize their potential, most settle for video game lives, a refuge from a reality saturated with estrogen laden politics, but even there they are no longer safe from the feminists' efforts to blame and shame to control them.
  • Whether a man asks a woman to date, dance, dine or knock boots, we are giving her the chance to show why we should take more than a passing interest in her. If she rejects the chance, obviously she wasn't smart enough to cease the moment and isn't worth our time. Men have the power. Or so feminists claim. But like elephants trained from birth to be bound by a thin rope, we give up our power. Why should we? No reason. Ours is the power. Let women prove themselves worthy of our attention.
  • Once I accepted that I have the power, I found myself liking women a lot more.
  • Will feminists' next fight to legalize fourth trimester abortions?
  • Man-hating feminist biddies are frothing at Irish DJ Colin Murray and accusing him of sexism for complimenting Olympic heptathlon gold winner Jessica Ennis-Hill's derrière: Colin Murray faces Twitter sexism row about Jessica Ennis "bottom" comments at London's Anniversary Games. What a crock! Had he said that an athlete needed the pecs of Daniel Craig, nobody would have complained. But let a man appreciate a woman's body, and all hell breaks loose. That's sick, twisted and vile. Heterosexual men are supposed to appreciate women's bodies: it's natural and healthy. Anybody who says otherwise is beneath contempt.
  • Feminists laugh that Men's Rights Advocates read more feminist books than feminists do. Could this be why MRAs are so opposed to feminism, because we are among the few who know what it's really about?
  • Feminists grumble that there is a subtle, sexist whispering campaign against Janet Yellen in the decision over who will replace Ben Bernanke as Fed Chairman. Why should we care who is appointed to run a bank that should not even exist?
  • Even though women perpetrate domestic violence just as much as men, more women are injured because the male anatomy is better suited to violent struggle. Because of this, feminists stereotype all men as violent offenders...except when it comes to sports and combat, and then feminists claim the female anatomy is at least as capable of violence.
  • It's sexist when an employer requires women to wear leotards "while the men get away with a suit" but perfectly acceptable that most employers allow women to wear just about anything they want but require men to wear "appropriate office attire"?
  • By legal definition, millions of women sexually harass their male coworkers. But nobody talks about that. Instead we are harangued with decades of hand wringing about the oh-so-many ways in which evil men harass helpless women. If we were truly concerned with eliminating sexism, we would focus on both misogyny and misandry. That we do not is evidence of a different agenda.
  • The military draft laws were legislated by the husbands of women who expected men to be prepared to die for them.
  • As a child I was stereotyped and silenced for being American Indian. As an adult, I am stereotyped and silenced for being a man. I know racism, I know bigotry, I know sexism, and people who do not have to register for the draft (which I had to do during the Vietnam War) can tell me there is no systemic discrimination against men, but in doing so they merely expose their own privilege.
  • MSNBC host Ari Melber says now that Detroit is bankrupt, it's the most libertarian city, ignoring that the progressive liberal policies that bankrupted the city are still in force.
  • If libertarians were allowed free reign in Detroit, within 10 years it would become one of the most prosperous and livable cities in the world.
  • The Everyday Sexism Project provides a wailing wall for women to whine about the attention they receive from men. But if we ignore them, they stage Slut Walks to get our attention. Why does anybody pay them any attention?
  • Feminists are like other people's misbehaving children; we should just ignore them.
