Predictions for 1997

1. 3.8 million children will be born in the United States.
1.3 million of them will be born out of wedlock.
40% of these children will be born to teen age mothers. To recieve their fair share of the fatted tit of government sponsored social welfare, these 1.3 million women will be MANDATED to provide the state with the name, address, and pertinents of the fathers (more specifically "the usual suspects") of these children. These men will summarily be fed into the meat grinder of the family court system in record numbers.
Of the remaining 2.5 million children born, more than 50% will spend a majority of their lives without the positive influences associated with a biological father. These children will flood into the streets in record numbers. They will represent a disproportionate number of our future inmates, drug addicts, teen pregnancies, teen suicides, mental/psychological handicaps, high school drop outs, mass murders, rapists, alcoholics. To take a look at the crime rate in the next century, take a look at the birthrate TODAY.
Youth gangs will in Los Angeles will find the leadership that they lack, probably an ex CIA agent. 250,000 armed and dangerous teen age gang members will be united under a single leadership with the sole intent of surviving. Anarchy will reign supreme for most of the year.
1 in 4 high school aged girls will become pregnant. Half of these will do so intentionally, knowingly, and with aforethought and malice. Half will have an abortion without the knowledge of their parents and with governmental assistance.
Many fathers will continue to teach their sons that nothing is better than "a piece of ass."
60% of all college aged women will have a sexually transmitted disease. All will blame it on a man. The average number of sexual partners per woman of this age will double in the next decade. No one will look to place the individual responsibility for sexual activity on the shoulders of women. Why should they start NOW.
AIDS will become the number one killer of women. This too will be blamed on men.
Women will attain a dubious equality with men in the quantity of illegal drugs and alcohol consumed per capita - despite a 40% smaller physical mass.
85% of all prescriptions for psychiatric disorders will be dispensed exclusively to women.
Federally funded Women-Only Health concerns will continue to out pace Men-Only health concerns by a 3 to 1 ratio. For every woman who dies of breast cancer, a man will die from prostate cancer.
Women will abort another 1.5 million perfectly good children for no other reason than BECAUSE THEY CAN! Abortion will continue to be the primary form of birth control for sexually liberated women. 1 in 3 pregnancies will end in a trash can.
Men will again suffer in silence as their biological progeny are flushed down the toilet of Women's Rights!
There will be 2.3 million marriages. 30% will be second or third marriages.
Same sex marriage will be legalized. Lesbian divorce actions take on the proportions of Tag Team Wrestling Matches and Tractor pulls in court houses across America. Turkey basters will be held in contempt of court and offered as evidence. Fingerprints from the bulb will be offered as proof of paternity.
There will be more than 1.6 million divorces initiated. There will be more than 1.1 million divorces finalized. Less than 54% of first marriages will make it 7 years. Less than 67% of second marriages will make it 5 years. Less than 78% of third marriages will make it 3 years.
The average divorce will involve .97 children. This represents a 30% increase in the number of children effected by divorce in less than one generation.
Nationally, 33% of all American between the age of 18 and 50 will have their lives directly disrupted by the family law.
American employers will shell out BILLIONS because of the disruption to their workforce caused by the family law.
Nationally, more than 70% of all divorces will be initiated by women against men. Divorce will still be the primary means that American women use to punish men, mostly for archaic moral or economic failures. Sometimes for nor other reason than BECAUSE THEY CAN.
Nationally 1 in 8 Americans will be involved in some form of family law action - Paternity, divorce, modification, enforcement. 54% of ALL litigation in the United States will involve the family law. of the remainder only about 18% will involve misdemeanor or felony criminal offenses.
900,000 men will be ordered to pay child support representing between 20- 50% of their GROSS INCOME.
More than 2 million men (and less than 100,000 women) will be held in contempt of court for non payment of child support. 66% of these men will be unable - not unwilling - to pay court ordered Child Support. Of the remaining 33%, 12% will be dead, 40% will be incarcerated. The 10% of those ordered to pay who have the ability to pay and choose not to pay will give the rest of us a bad name. The title "Dead Beat Dad" will remain in our culture and gain even wider public support.
More than 23 million children will be denied visitation with, and access to, their biological fathers. More than 50% of these kids have not seen their fathers in more than a year.
Mothers will continue to get away with infanticide and the generational genocide that is associated with father absence unabated by the courts or the government. Self will run riot.
Mothers will continue to be allowed to represent child support income on credit applications.
Mothers will continue to be allowed to use dependant child and earned income credit deductions to further inflate their net incomes.
Somewhere in America, a male fetus will be charged with sexual harassment.
More than 25,000 infants will die. The vast majority of these kids will suffer the most pain and torment at the hands of their own mothers.
False allegations of abuse will result in the issuance of more than 400,000 restraining orders against fathers. 40,000 men will eventually be incarcerated as a consequence of what any first year law student would call "egregious violations of due process rights."
For every woman who claims physical abuse of Domestic Violence, there will be 1.2 men who suffer similar treatment in silence.
Nationally, Women will again show an overall increase of as much as 6% in arrests for violent crimes following a 5 year trend. They will also continue to be sentenced to less than 50% of the time that their male counterparts.
More than 300 men will be killed on death rows across this nation. No women will similarly die at the hands of the government.
Excluding a full out war - more than 300 male american soldiers will die in the service of their country. No females will die under similar circumstances. In the event of a war, 30,000 American men will die for every American woman sacrificed. Women will still not be required to register for selective service.
In light of the advent of mandatory chemical castration in sexual related offenses in California, a man somewhere will be castrated for smiling in a sexually harassing manner at a woman. The woman was made to "feel" cheapened and inferior by the smile.
60% of all college graduates and 54% of all law school and med school graduates will be women. 85% of all retiring attorneys and doctors will be men.
67% of the population over the age of 65 will continue to be women. 80% of those over 75 will be women.
Nearly 60% of all children born will be male. By the age of 12, women will outnumber men. Statistically speaking, a 40 year old male will be societally obsolete.
Father's and Men's rights activists will continue to attempt to initiate activities such as rallies, protests, media blitzes, mail and e-mail campaigns, and other totally futile efforts in an attempt to make themselves "feel better."
Greed and avarice will continue to dominate the leadership of all so-called Father's and Men's national organizations, which are actually regional organizations, which are actually a few guys who met at a 12 step program in 1974, whose memberships are comprised for the most part of the disenfranchised dregs of a rapidly changing society.
The words "charity and sacrifice" and "fathers rights" will remain antonyms.
All lawyers associated with fathers rights organizations will continue to peddle books, video tapes, or other evidence of their incompetence, on those who need more than star dust.
The reality is that the battle is lost. The world is going to hell in a hand basket.
